Nathan Ellis to Wes Agar. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed to mid on for 1 run, fielded by Miller. Hurricanes hold on and they seal a spot in the playoffs, knocking out the Scorchers in the process. It was a high scoring affair which could have gone either way and the Strikers did very well to get so close to the total posted. Phil Salt started with some lusty blows but it was always tough for the new batsmen to come in and start hitting from the off.We now have the top two spots settled so the Melbourne Stars will be playing the Sydney Sixers while fourth and fifth is still up for grabs. Plenty to play for tomorrow so do join us then.
