Kavisha Dilhari was only 15 when she was discovered during an island-wide talent hunt for domestic cricket. The off-spinner wasted no time proving her worth in her T20I debut, picking up Harmanpreet Kaur's wicket and also later scoring the winning runs. She was also named in Sri Lanka's squad for the 2018 and 2020 editions of the T20 World Cup.
Dilhari was vice-captain of Sri Lanka when they won the silver medal in the 2019 South Asian Games.
