Rumana Ahmed made her ODI debut against Ireland in November 2011, followed by her T20I debut against the same team the following year. The allrounder is currently the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh in ICC WT20 World Cups, along with a growing wicket-tally to complement the same. Ahmed also bagged 10 wickets during Bangladesh's victorious 2018 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. The ICC WT20 World Cup Qualifier in 2018 was also a successful campaign for her, as she ended up as her side's leading wicket-taker with ten scalps.
Rumana was part of Bangladesh's squad which went onto win a silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games.
